The most revolutionary form of education expected to reach thousands of youth starting this Saturday.
Change the World Trust in Collaboration with Department of Education is holding nothing back, ensuring South African youth are equipped for the world stage. Through launching of the Hour of Code in rural communities thousands of youth will now have access to free Computer science education, a language that is rapidly becoming essential to our everyday life’s in the technology we depend on from an early age.

Students that participate will be equipped with Computer science essential concepts. These same concepts give youth the abilities they need to succeed on all their other natural subjects, as it adjust your way of thinking, to a more logical, computational and effective way.
These same students will also become part of a network of youth throughout SA who will have access to the national competition, designed to shine the light on talent from all back grounds.
The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. Anyone, anywhere can organize an Hour of Code event. One-hour tutorials are available in over 40 languages. No experience needed: Ages 4 to 104.
